WAR BOXDelete your account
You can delete your War Box account and everything stored under it at any time. Do it in the app, in a web browser, or ask us by email. Deleting an account can't be undone.
In the app
- Open War Box and sign in.
- Tap Settings at the top of the screen, next to your email address.
- Scroll down to Account and tap Delete account.
- Re-enter your password and tap Delete my account.
You need to be online. When it's done, the app signs you out and shows "Your account is deleted." If something goes wrong partway, the app tells you and you can try again.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, open the War Box web app in any browser at ace0nbase.github.io/gear-locker. Sign in with the same email and password, then follow steps 2 to 4 above. If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen first.
By email
If you can't sign in, email support@getwarbox.com from the address you use for War Box and ask us to delete your account. We'll delete it and the records stored under it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your gear and everything else in your locker: items, kits, ammo, range sessions, DOPE data, maintenance records, wish list, radio frequencies, PACE plans and your settings.
- Loans you recorded, and the copies your friends could see of gear you lent them.
- Your share links. Old links stop working.
- Your price alerts and your lookup usage counts.
- Your sign-in.
- The copy of your locker saved on the phone or browser you delete from.
Copies in short-term backups expire on their own. We keep anything we're legally required to keep.
Loans from friends
If a friend recorded a loan to your email address, a job that runs every hour removes your email from their record and deletes the copy you could see. Your friend keeps their own note of the loan, without your email address.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the store you bought it from:
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose War Box.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and choose War Box.
