WAR BOXTerms of Use
These terms apply to the War Box app for iPhone (the "app") and getwarbox.com (the "website"), both run by Six Ridge Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app or website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. App license
The app is licensed to you, not sold. Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA controls for the license itself. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
2. Who can use War Box
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and located in the United States. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done in your account.
3. Subscriptions, trials and lookup packs
- The app is free to download and includes a limited number of free AI lookups each month. Paid plans add more lookups and features. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Subscriptions are purchased through Apple and renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- If you start a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
- Lookup packs are one-time purchases. Pack lookups don't expire and are used after your monthly allowance.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we can't issue refunds for App Store purchases.
- Monthly lookup allowances reset each month and don't roll over. Free lookups depend on a shared monthly budget and may be paused for a time if that budget is used up.
4. AI lookups are informational
AI lookups use third-party AI models and web sources to estimate things like prices, weights, battery types, specs and radio frequencies. Results are for general information only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important yourself before relying on it, especially values for insurance, safety-related specs, ballistic data, and radio frequencies or licensing rules. Never rely on the app for decisions where an error could cause injury, damage or legal trouble.
5. Following the law is your responsibility
The War Box app is a record-keeping tool for inventory, safety, training and maintenance. It doesn't sell or broker firearms, ammunition or accessories, and it doesn't give legal advice. You're solely responsible for knowing and following all federal, state and local laws that apply to you, including laws on owning, buying, selling, lending, transporting, storing and carrying firearms, ammunition, suppressors and accessories, and rules for radio transmission and licensing. Recording a loan or a frequency in the app doesn't make it lawful.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the app or website to break the law, to store content you have no right to, to try to access another person's account or data, to interfere with or overload our services (including automated or scripted use of lookups), or to reverse engineer the app except where the law allows.
7. Your content
You own the records you put in the app, and any photo you send for Photo ID. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them only as needed to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app, change or discontinue features, or update these terms. If we make significant changes to these terms we'll update the effective date and let you know in the app or by email. You can stop using War Box and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
9. No warranty
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of data loss.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Six Ridge Labs LLC and its members, managers and contractors won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or property, arising from your use of the app or website or from reliance on any AI lookup result. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app or website is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some states don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Six Ridge Labs LLC from claims arising from your misuse of the app or your violation of these terms or the law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
