When is the War Box app coming out?
The War Box app is coming to iPhone this December. Join the waitlist on the home page and we'll email you when it's ready. Waitlist members get first access to TestFlight test spots.
Who can see my gear and serial numbers?
Only you. Your records are tied to your account and no one else can open them. Serial numbers are never sent to AI lookups as text or shared. Other people see something only if you turn on a share link for an item or kit, or record a loan to them (they see the item name and dates).
What do AI lookups send?
A price or weight lookup sends an item's name, brand, category, color and condition. It never sends serial numbers or notes. You can keep your whole armory out of price and weight lookups with one setting. Photo ID sends the photo you take, so keep serial numbers out of frame. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what each kind of lookup sends.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your records are kept on your iPhone so you can use the app without signal, and changes sync when you're back online.
Does it sync between devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same account and your records sync between your devices.
How much does it cost?
The app is free to download and includes 10 AI lookups every month. Paid plans add more lookups and features, and lookup packs are available if you need extra. Current prices are shown in the app. Veteran pricing is coming soon.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose War Box. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. That deletes your account and everything stored under it. You can also email support@getwarbox.com from your account email and we'll delete it within 30 days.
How do I get off the waitlist?
Email support@getwarbox.com from the address you signed up with, or use the unsubscribe link in any waitlist email.
Does War Box sell guns, ammo or gear?
No. The War Box app is for inventory, safety, training and record-keeping. It doesn't sell firearms, ammunition or accessories.
Reporting a bug
Email support@getwarbox.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, what you did, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot helps. Please don't include serial numbers or other sensitive details in screenshots.
